Seaborn James "Seabe" Nickens was the fifth child of William Nickens and Sarah Jane Kelly. He was born 23 Nov, 1872 at Galvez, Ascension Parish, La. On 07 Feb, 1901 "Seabe" married Francis Matilda "Sugar" Ficklin at Donaldsonville, Ascension Parish. She was born 09 May, 1881 at Galvez, the daughter of Andrew Jackson Ficklin and Mary Louisiana Hodgeson. Seabe died 21 May, 1951. and is buried at Mt Zion Cemetery. Francis died 29 Feb, 1968 and is also buried at Mt Zion Cemetery.
