William E. "Little Willie" Nickens was the third child of Seaborn Nickens and Mary Malinda Mortinez. He was born 20 Dec, 1874 in Ascension Parish, La. On 13 Dec, 1896 "Willie" married Mary Evelyn King in Ascension Parish. She was the daughter of John Thomas King and Julia J. Causey. Mary Evelyn was born in Ascension Parish, La. on 19 Nov, 1877. Willie died 18 Sep, 1902 and is buried in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Prairieville, Ascension Parish, La. Mary died 22 Feb, 1961 and is also buried in Mt Zion Cemetery.
