Seaborn Calvin Nickens was the second child of Lawrence Bennet Nickens and Mary Cockerham. He was born 04 Jun, 1838 in Livingston Parish, La. In 1865 Seaborn married Mary Malinda Mortinez in Ascension Parish, La. She was the daughter of Joseph Mortinez and Louise Fausa. Mary was born 25 Jul, 1842 in Ascension Parish, La. Mary died the 14 Nov, 1901 and Seaborn died 23 Aug, 1922. Seaborn and Mary are both buried at Mt Zion Cemetery in Prairieville, La.
