Milburn Thomas "Pete" Nickens was the seventh child of Henry Valma Nickens and Laura Lucinda Moore. He was born 11 Sep, 1906 at HopeVilla, Ascension Parish, La. On 30 Aug, 1931 Milburn married Mildred Inez Lambert. She was the daughter of Madison Percy Lambert and Ida Maud Vernon. Mildred was born 17 Sep, 1907 at Arcola, Asc, La. Pete died 01 Sep, 1976 and is buried at Hope Haven Mausoleum, Prairieville, Asc, La. Mildred died 23 Sep, 2004 and is also buried at Hope Haven.
