Willie Murphy "Bill" Marchand was the fifth child of Edna Abigail Nickens and Joseph Nicholas Marchand. He was born 21 Nov, 1910 at Port Vincent, Ascension Parish, La. Bill married Sylvie E. Dupuy, (date and place unknown). She was born 01 Jul, 1914 in Denham Springs, Livingston Parish, La. She was the daughter of Optima Dupuy and Enorie Sanckey. Sylvie died 28 Apr, 1982. Willie Murphy died 19 Dec, 1990. Both are buried in Mt Zion Cemetery, Galvez, La.
