Vernon Melton Causey was the ninth child of Frances Bellezora Nickens and Clarence Lee Causey. He was born 06 Sep, 1920 at Brittany, Ascension Parish, La. Vernon was a member of the Seventh day Adventist Church. He lived and died in Gonzales, Ascension Parish, La. The date of Vernon’s death is 25 Feb, 1996. Vernon is buried in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Ascension Parish, La. Vernon never married.
