Percy Nickens was the second child of John Davis Nickens and Lula Erata Ficklin. He was born 17 Oct, 1901 at Gonzales, Ascension Parish, La. Percy married Maggie Stephens, date unavailable. She was born 17 May, 1902 in Ascension Parish, La. Maggie was the daughter of Hugh E. "Huey" Stephens and Mary Duplessis. Maggie died 10 Mar, 1928 and is buried in Mt Zion Cemetery, Galvez, Ascension Parish, La. After Maggie's death, Percy did not remarry. He was a resident of Pumkin Center. Percy died 03 Apr, 1983 at Amite, La. Percy is buried in Parklawn Cemetery, Hammond, Tangipahoa, La.
