Lee Oscar Starkey was the third child of Ida Mae Nickens and Oscar Lee Starkey. He was born 01 May, 1929 at Hammond, Tangipahoa Parish, La. Lee married JoAnn Gatlin, (date unknown). She was born 30 Aug, 1936 at Hammond, Tangipahoa Parish, La. Her parents were Holister and Bernice Gatlin. Lee Oscar Starkey died 22 May, 2006 at Pumpkin Center, La. He is buried in Jerusalem Baptist Church Cemetery. JoAnn is living.
