Joseph Oliver Edmonston was the second child of Arthur Roscoe Edmonston and Ida Daigle, step son to Estelle Marchand. He was born 23 Aug, 1917 at Port Vincent, Livingston Parish, La. Joseph married Verby Brown, (date and place unknown). She was born 1921, exact date unknown. Verby was the daughter of Ronnie Lee Brown and Winnie Berteau. Joseph died 03 Feb, 1945 and is buried in Prairieville Cemetery, Prairieville, Ascension Parish, La. Verby remarried to Isom James "Dan" Nickens. She died 1966 and is buried in Prairieville Cemetery.
