She was born 16 Apr, 1927 in Livingston Parish, La, the daughter of Charles Franklin Carpenter and Agnes Burkhalter. Guessner died 19 May, 1990 at Hammond, Tangipahoa, La. John Newton Starkey died 18 Jun, 2001. Both are buried in Jerusalem Baptist Church Cemetery, Pumpkin Center, Tangipahoa Parish, La.
