During 1931 John married Audrey Mae Clayton at Denham Springs, Livingston Parish, La. She was born 10 Mar, 1910 to John R. and Anna Clayton. John remarried to Clauda Wall 04 Sep, 1937. She was born 28 Sep, 1914 to Loren Wall and Ellie Bertie Smiley. John Alford died 24 Dec, 1983 at Baton Rouge and is buried at Green Oaks Memorial Park Cemetery.
