Arnold Pennie Nickens was the second child of Joseph Lawrence Nickens and Ella Clayton. He was born 12 Jul, 1900 in Ascension Parish, La. Arnold married Iona Rice. She was born 09 Oct, 1906 to George W. and Camelia Rice. Arnold died Jul, 1978 and is buried in Mt Zion cemetery at Prairieville, Acension Parish, La. Iona died 19 Dec, 2001 at Baton Rouge,La. Iona is buried in Mt Zion Cemetery without a grave marker.
