Alton Buren Edmonston was the seventh child of Arthur Roscoe Edmonston and Estelle Marchand. He was born 22Mar, 1930 at Port Vincent, Ascension Parish, La. Alton married Lurline Hope Windham 18Jun, 1958 at Elmore County, Al. She was born 06 Dec, 1934 at Kenner, Jefferson Parish, La. Lurline’s parents were Albert Lavelle Windham and Leona Fourroux. She died 02May, 1976 at Galveston, Galveston County, Tx. and is buried at Dickenson, Galveston County, Tx. Alton died 29Aug, 1996 at Santa Fe, Galveston County, Tx. He is also buried at Dickenson.
